Effective October 25, 2026. These terms apply to GovBot Product Recalls at recalls.govbot.ai, operated by Ideation Lab, Corp.

Permitted use

Use this read-only service for public-record research. No sign-in or purchase is required. Respect rate limits and the published terms of the agency services, including the openFDA terms. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, disrupt the service or submit confidential information.

Source qualifications

Recall records are reproduced in the agency's wording and classification; preserve the stated agency, campaign or recall number, report date and retrieval time when reusing results. A make, model and model year listing does not show whether a recall has been repaired on a specific vehicle. openFDA states that its data are unvalidated and are not a basis for medical care decisions. Zero matches mean no record matched the words used, not that a product was never recalled. An unavailable source or a reached request limit is not evidence about a recall.

Limits of the service

No result is a determination that a vehicle or product is safe or unsafe, and the service does not provide medical, legal or repair advice. Instructions about a recalled product come from the manufacturer or recalling firm and the agency. Records are provided as available without a guarantee of completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular decision. GovBot is not affiliated with or endorsed by NHTSA, the U.S. Department of Transportation, FDA or any government agency. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
